Rajalakshmi School of Business (RSB) invites applications from qualified and motivated candidates for faculty positions at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor.

Faculty members at Rajalakshmi School of Business (RSB) are expected to contribute to the institution through excellence in teaching, research, student development, institutional governance, and external academic engagement, aligned with the Faculty Performance Measurement System (FPMS).


Faculty members are expected to adopt innovative pedagogical approaches to enhance student learning and engagement. Particular emphasis should be placed on the case teaching method, experiential learning, simulations, industry-linked projects, and other interactive teaching methodologies that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and managerial decision-making skills among students.


Faculty members should continuously update their teaching practices to incorporate contemporary management concepts, industry perspectives, and emerging technologies, ensuring that classroom learning remains relevant, rigorous, and aligned with the evolving needs of business and society.

Qualifications

Qualifications and experience shall be as per UGC/AICTE norms. Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
  • Publications in Scopus / ABDC indexed journals
  • Experience in industry engagement, training programmes, consultancy, or sponsored research projects
  • Exposure to innovative teaching methods including case-based pedagogy

NON-TEACHING

  • Marketing Executive – Telemarketer

For all the above positions, candidates should be doctorates, preferably full-time, with an impressive track record in research by way of having published papers in Scopus and/or ABDC indexed journals. Candidates for the first three positions should be PGDMs from reputed business schools. Candidates for the fourth position may have a Master’s degree in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics, while those for the fifth position should have a Master’s degree in Economics. Candidates in the Economics area should have a firm grounding in quantitative Economics and should be capable of teaching quantitative courses such as Econometrics, Game Theory etc.

For the first three positions, preference will be given to candidates with relevant industry experience. All candidates should ideally be under 40.

Faculty who wish to teach in a visiting faculty capacity may also apply. A doctoral degree is not mandatory for visiting faculty positions, nor is the age cap.
