Placement Report
RSB is one of the best PGDM colleges in Tamilnadu, as it persistently strives to provide a learning environment where learners’ inquisitiveness drives their critical thinking and creativity facilitates their competency development. With a range of thought-provoking initiatives such as Future Leaders Program (FLP) and Corporate Mentorship Program (CMP), the students are acclimatized right from the beginning to meet the demands and rigor at the future work place. Dedicated operations facilitate the natural progression from enrolment to recruitment enabling students to identify their core values, strengths, emotional intelligence and career preferences. Luminaries from academia and industry interact with the students during the Corporate Lectures which encourage and motivate the young managers to work hard at building new skills while developing confidence and expertise in various functionalities.
Career Guidance & Corporate Relations
The Corporate Relations Team is guided by constant inputs from the Management, the Board of Directors, and the Advisory Council, all of whom are stalwarts in their respective industries. The team plays a vital role in connecting the Campus to the Industry and in apprising the students of the current trends by means of guest lectures and seminars. The team also brings to the notice of the Management and students the ever-evolving requirements from the various sectors, and subsequently trains and prepares the students for their successful entry into the job market As part of career guidance, ample mock sessions on aptitude tests, group discussions and interviews are conducted for the students to raise their preparation and confidence levels before they can face the companies during the placement week. Companies from a variety of sectors including Services, Auto, Manufacturing, Chemicals, e-commerce, FMCG, and IT are invited to participate in the recruitment drive during the placement week, so as to offer the students an opportunity to follow their interests and dreams while choosing their careers.
Training
Summer internship program
Summer internship is a requisite part of RSB’s curriculum which helps the student to gain experience thereby enhancing their knowledge, understanding of management problem, operational issue and functioning of the corporate. On completion of the first year, the students gain hands-on experience in the application of core concepts and functional skills through a Summer Project with leading Corporate Firms. They work on projects as per the specifications of the company. At the end of 8-10 weeks of a closely guided project under the supervision of a company executive, the students submit a report to the company. Our students have also received Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) for their exemplary work during their internship.
