Dr. Ujjal Mukherjee

Director

Dr. Ujjal Mukherjee is an accomplished academic and institutional leader with extensive experience in teaching, research, consulting, and academic administration. He has held leadership roles such as Professor, Head–Consultancy, and Head–Research at reputed business schools across India.

He holds a Ph.D. and MBA in Human Resource Management, is UGC-NET qualified, and has earned a University Teaching Certificate from Newcastle University, Australia. He is also a Certified Happiness Coach from The Berkeley Well-Being Institute, California.

Dr. Mukherjee has trained senior and middle management professionals from organizations including Tietoevry, eCONZ, NMDC, ONGC, and Power Grid Corporation. With over 17 years in academia, 4 years in industry, and 5 years as an entrepreneur, he brings a strong blend of academic depth and practical insight.

His research has appeared in ABDC, SCOPUS, and Web of Science-indexed journals. In 2022, he received the Global Research Paper Award from ISDSI–University at Albany, State University of New York. His current interests and training expertise include positive psychology, happiness and well-being, and creativity.

Dr Vidhya Srinivasan has over 4 decades of experience in teaching, training, research, consulting, advising and HR interventions across different sectors of the HR domain, as well as leadership roles in the field of HR education.

As an advisor, she has supported organizations in the fields of Corporate Social Responsibility, Diversity Management, and Strategic HR Intervention. As an HR educational leader, she has developed, nurtured and spearheaded the growth of the MSW-HR/ MHRM courses at the D. G. Vaishnav College, the Krishnaswamy College for Women Chennai, XIME Chennai and currently Head Corporate Connect at the Rajalakshmi School of Business (RSB) Chennai.Dr Vidhya has taught Talent Management, Business Ethics and Competency based Management at XIME Chennai. She has also handled courses on Performance Management and Organisational Behaviour at the Chennai Business School.

Her talks on Women in Leadership and Organizational Behavior are sought after. In keeping with her passion to build capacities, she has worked aggressively with HR leaders, trainers, skill specialists, and consultants for campus placements, global internships, certifications, industry interface conferences and leadership development, for over 5000 students over the last four and a half decades.

Vidhya has a graduate degree in Economics and General Law from the Mumbai University, and did her post-graduation in Social Work. She has a Doctorate in Corporate Social Responsibility from TISS, Mumbai. She has presented research papers in Asia, South America, Australia, the USA, and Africa. Her professional achievements include a Rotary Exchange Award to Canada, a British Council Fellowship and a Tata Trust Scholarship for Business Ethics Research. She is the author of the much sought after book, The HRD Almanac. 6000 copies of this book have been sold so far.

Prof. (Dr.) T. Muthukumar is having to his credit of Ph.D (Systems & IT), MCA (University of Madras), MBA (Systems & IT), M.Phil (Management), M.Sc (Applied Mathematics – Anna University) and PGDOR (OR Society of India, Calcutta). He has 34 years of rich varied experience in teaching, research and consultancy. He has undertaken several consultancy projects from India and abroad. He has authorised and published a technical book on Management Information System (MIS) for ICE / MCA Students, University of Madras. He has also published 40 Research papers in repute International / National Journals and Conferences.

Before Joining RSB, he worked as Professor & Associate Dean – XIME Bangalore, Faculty in Engineering College, University, Dean – MCA Department in IMS University Dehradun and Professor – IIHMR – New Delhi, ASBM – Bhubaneswar, Chennai and ETHIOPIA. His areas of Interest are Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Mining, Data Warehouse, Database Management Systems, Business Intelligence, Big Data and Software Project Management. Dr. Badri Toppur

PROFESSOR – OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

Dr. Badri Toppur came back to India after his PhD from University of Massachusetts in 2002 to take up teaching and research assignments, and has been teaching at some leading business schools in the country before joining RSB as an Associate Professor and Head of the Centre of Excellence – Business Analytics. His areas of interest are Quantitative Techniques, Decision Analysis, Operations Research, Business Analytics and Computer Simulation. He has jointly conducted Executive Development Programs for leading companies like HP and Oracle.

Dr. Toppur’s bachelor degree was in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and his M.S. was in Computational Mathematics and Operations Research, from Clemson University, South Carolina, USA. In the year 2002 he was awarded a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operational Research, on the area of heuristics for network design. He has also done his MBA in Global Energy from Bauer College, University of Houston, USA.

Dr.V.Sasikala has been an Associate Professor at  Rajalakshmi School of Business in Chennai since July 2022 and she has 20 years of academic and research experience. She excelled in teaching Accounting and Finance vertical papers such as Security Analysis & Portfolio Management, Financial Derivatives, International Financial Management, Behavioural Finance and Financial Modelling & Valuation. She received a doctorate in Management Studies (Behavioural Finance) from Anna University, Chennai in 2015. She has successfully completed the Faculty Development Programme (FDP) at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmadabad in 2009.

Dr. Mahalakshmi is an Assistant Professor in the area of Finance & Analytics at Rajalakshmi School of Business. She additionally holds the role of Summer Internship Program Coordinator, utilizing her strong corporate connections, and serves as the Research & Publications Coordinator for the department. Furthermore, she fosters strong bonds within the student community by actively engaging them in cultural and sports activities. She is a Certified Consultant with a proven track record in leading and managing a diverse range of Consultancy projects.

With over eight years of experience at Great Lakes Institute of Management, she has a strong base on Financial Modelling, Data Visualization using Tableau & PowerBI, Investment Banking, Financial Risk Management and Derivatives. She serves as an expert resource across multiple colleges, contributing to teaching, research, and consultancy projects. She is also specialized in Python, SQL, R, and various other software applications.

She hold a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D) in Finance. She was a Guest Scholar at IIT Madras under the guidance of Prof. Dr. M.Thenmozhi. Dr. Sathya Saminadan RS is a Professor at the Management School, IFMR Graduate School of Business, part of Krea University. A distinguished academic and practitioner, he holds a Doctorate in Marketing from Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Maha Vidyalaya (SCSVMV) University and brings over 22 years of diverse professional experience.

Dr. Sathya’s illustrious career began as a Sales Representative in the pharmaceutical industry, followed by impactful roles in the aviation and banking sectors. Rising through the corporate ranks, he became Vice President of Marketing, excelling in areas such as sales, training, digital marketing, product planning, and communication strategy.

In 2010, he transitioned to academia to fulfill his passion for teaching, starting his journey at the Great Lakes Institute of Management. He completed his Ph.D. in Digital Marketing in 2018, marking a significant milestone in his academic pursuits.Dr. Sathya is also a highly sought-after Management Development Coach. Dr. T C Thomas is Professor, Dr.J.Sathyakumar is a professor in the area of Human Resources and Organizational Development, with Ph.D., from the University of Madras. His work in the area of Human Resources is backed by academic teaching of over 16 years and an equivalent time spent in corporate. During the academic tenure, he held the positions of Dean and Principal in the Management Institution. He had published research papers in the reputed International Journals like Taylor & Francis, U.K., and in Japan. He had presented papers in several conferences in the area of Organizational Psychology and Counseling Psychology.

He has an International exposure of having attended a niche training program in the area of counseling intervention in Australia at Hobart, Tasmania. Before he found his passion in academics, he spent over two decades with corporates like Enfield, MRF, Ashok Leyland, Spic group of companies etc. This experience coupled with academics lead to OD consulting at leading corporates and conducting several MDPs for seniors management team of TVS Tyres, Apollo Hospitals, HPCL, Textile manufacturing units etc., He had conducted specialized training programs for School Head Masters and the India Post employees and work-shops on Managerial Counseling. I have a solid 20 years of industry experience before I decided to pursue academics. During my industry stint, I had interacted with various clients and business stakeholders which I bring to the class and particularly I can bring in more live and real-time experience to the executive students as well. Also, I am currently involved in in-depth academic research on how technology can contribute immensely to resolve some of the contemporary issues in society. This include in the area of city administration, agriculture, electoral process etc…

So I will be able to add to the body of research, a rich wealth of research. In addition to my current teaching and research activities, I have also incubated an ecommerce business registered as a formal company along with one of my student. I am also planning to incubate another TWO more ventures as part of promoting entrepreneurship among students. I will be able to bring my expertise in this area as well which will be a great value addition for the institute. Last but not the least, I am part of core committee of accreditation and along with my team we have been very actively working for receiving national and international accreditations. He is running his boutique Industry 4.0 (Digital transformation) consulting initiative (https://pmcgs.net ) and delivered many niche digital solutions and ERP implementations for signature clients across the globe. He secured a good sense of cultural inclusivity by virtue of extensive overseas experience (12 years) and worked from 14+ countries for various strategic assignments. As a passion, he is sharing his industrial experience with student community for last 7 years in terms of visiting and adjunct faculty assignments to leading business schools like LIBA, BITS-Pilani, Anna University – DoMS and NMIMS

He covers courses from Digital transformation, IT/ERP, SCM, Strategic Management, Project management, Six Sigma and Entrepreneurship domains.
